Slumber Party

Emma got to have her very first slumber party this year. Slumber parties are things of the past. The only thing most can do is late nights. It has made me sad that my girls couldn't have the fun that I use to have. Then I thought why not? I mean, if you don't want your child to sleep over they don't have to. So we left it up to the parents. We did a late night for those who couldn't stay over. It worked out perfect.

Some of the crazy party girls.
We had a lot of fun, we ate pizza, and a veggie tray, we decorated cupcakes, played hide and seek, Sardines, Timer, Tag, and watched a movie. What more could a party ask for?

Decorating our own cupcakes

With 13 girls Emma got a lot of fun things. Clothes, earrings, toys, candy...

Silly ladies playing Sardines

Here are the ladies that got to stay.

Emma loved her party. THey finally went to sleep around 2 am with mom having to come out and sleep on the floor with them. At 6:30am I heard the first start of the giggling. That is the moment that my heart smiled. That made the late night and all the craziness worth it. The sweet giggling of 5 eight year old girls. In the morning we made pancakes and two of the girls came back over. I will have to say that I was glad this was the what we did. Slumber parties are as fun as I remember.
