bAby batH tiMe

I wish those smiles where for me...but they are for Emma. Emma was cooing at her while she had a bath. I had to take a few shots because she looked so cute. I love love love baby bath time. It is so much fun to see her eyes light up when her feet hit the water. She talks and smiles the whole time. Until I wash her hair then she is done.

I don't know how she does this. She seems to always fall asleep while we eat dinner. It is such a comfortable spot...who wouldn't want to sleep in her chair?

jErOn's aNd dAvId's pAr Tay!

My parents had a June birthday bash at their house for Jeron and David tonight. Unfortunately Jeron had to work so he wasn't able to come to his own party. Bummer. To bad for Jeron because my Mom made Carrot Cake in his honor. David wanted German Chocolate on his real birthday. Picky! It was fun to get together and hang out with everyone. David is turning 30 so he needed a big bash with all of us there to harass him.

fUn tiMes wIth oLd fRieNds!

Here is the back ground...Jeron and John are friends from high school. Jana and I became friends while working together after High School. So we have been friends for about 3 years...hehehe and NO I will not tell you how long we have been friends. When we first got married we all ended up in the same ward. Collings and Johns hit it off and have been friends ever since. It is always great when everyone gets along. I really like Molly and Jeron really likes Graydon so it worked with the three couples. Megan and Jana(Johns) + Molly(Collings), and Jeron and John(Collings) + Graydon(Johns)= Great Friends. Get it? I was trying to explain to JJ how we all know each other and he was very confused. I hope it makes sense now.

With ten kids and a lot of miles between us it isn't very often that we can all get together. It was so fun to see everyone and see how much our kids have grown. It is funny we don't get together more often, because it really was a nice night. John and Molly had us over at John's parents house. There back yard is more like a park with a fence. We let the kids run wild while we talked. Thanks for having us over. We loved it. We need to do this again. SOON!

...it'S yOur biRthdAy

Jeron had to work on his birthday...so I didn't really get the chance to spoil him. By the time he got home everyone else was coming over. Gene and Jan took us to dinner at Lonestar. We haven't been there in a long time. They all had all you can eat ribs. I hate ribs so I enjoyed watching them become messy while I ate like a civilized person...hehehe. My parents were nice enough to take our kids to a movie so that we could go kid free to dinner. Thanks Mom and Dad. We all met up at our place for cake and icecream. David and Michael came also. It is always fun to get together and see family. Jeron wanted a carrot cake for his cake...yuck! His wish was my command and wallah another carrot cake. I do like carrot cake just not for a birthday. It was a very nice day. Jeron wanted me to say Thank You for the comments and the well wishes. They meant a lot to him. Hey Honey YOU'RE OLD!

Happy Birthday Jeron!

Happy Birthday to my Old Man! Yes my wonderful hubby is 32 today. I am so grateful that on High School Graduation I wore an outfit that he thought was hot. Because of that we are married today and have four beautiful children. He is the love of my life! He makes me laugh more than anyone can. He makes me feel beautiful. He understands me more than anyone. He brings out the best and worst in me. He keeps me on my toes. He makes me want to do better. He harasses me more than anyone can. Lets face it he is smoken' hot. I love him so much. I hope that you have a wonderful birthday. I am so glad that you were born.

haVe wE hAd eNough wAter yEt?

My kids have gone swimming almost everyday the last two weeks. My house is suffering because of all the pool time. When JJ and Emma want to swim it means Ellie wants to swim which means I have to swim. I would really like to spend a day at home cleaning to make it look nice but instead I am somewhere is some water watching my kids turn brown while I repel the sun. Not on purpose either...since I was in my early 20's I have not tanned well at all. NOT FAIR!

Today they swam at our neighbors the Ottesons. They have so much fun with their kids. Sarah of course whipped up a yummy lunch while I was out with the kids...I didn't have to make lunch or do anything except feed my babe and watch the kiddos. Can anyone say L A Z Y.

My kids did not come in until 8:30pm They spent the whole day over there. I don't know how their skin is still on their bones. I expect more of this though. The Ottesons will have that pool all summer.

JJ is going to have to take a little break due to the finger injury. It will not heal until it stops getting wet. He is pretty bummed about that idea. To bad for him. The problem is it keeps bleeding and reopening all of the time. My parents came over last night and my Dad solved that problem.

Over Kill...but he needed something to make him stop using his finger.

fUn weEkeNd

I got JJ off this morning for Cub country. Then I weeded the yard and came back in and everyone was still asleep. So I got back in bed and snuggled with my hubby. I love mornings like this. Then we got our work done and headed off to the cabin. JJ was already up there so we found him. (A little scary because if we didn't he would have gone home to no one.) I of course forgot my camera and there was a dead moose and it was worth taking pictures of. JJ also cut his finger with his new pocket knife. The adventures of a cub scout. And the creek was higher than I have seen it in a long time. It was so green and beautiful. It was nice to go up there and see the beauty all around. I love the cabin. It is one of my favorite places on this earth. We went with Mama, Papa, and Michael. It was funny when I told the kids who was going they were excited, but when I told them that Michael was going they about jumped to the ceiling with excitement. It is so cute how much they love their Uncle Michael. He is 17 years old...He treats my kids more like siblings...and they just adore him...go figure! On Sunday we just went to church and hung out at home. We made hamburgers and cheese fries. I will have to say my hamburgers are soooooooooo yummy. And to prove it I took a picture...and my family thought I was insane. I am kind of strange like that.

Tell me your mouth isn't watering when you see that. Just add fresh minced garlic, one large onion finely chopped, 1/2 C bread crumbs, 2/3 C Parmesan cheese, 1 egg, 2 lbs hamburger and grill.

Walla...the yummest burger.

I make 5 patties and then roll the rest of the meat into meatballs and cook them on med high with 1 Tb. olive oil for about 10 minutes turning to brown all sides. Then I have meatballs for a night when we make spaghetti.

Our friends all a get together in the summer and do things. One of my favortie things is going swimming at my friend Lisa's moms pool. She has a wonderful set up. They have a large covered patio so there is shade for the babies, and a pool with a slide and diving board with all the toys the kids can stand. It is always fun to get together to swim, eat, and gab. The kids all get along so well. There is someone for every kid to play with. Ellie had to wear a lifejacket this year. If she would move away from the stairs then she would just float. It was kind of funny to look over and see her floating in the middle of the pool. We had a great time. Thanks Lisa!

JJ went to his first ever cub scout camp up Millcreek Canyon today. I have always driven by there and thought about how much I would like to go there. It looks like so much fun. He went to Super Hero's and Jurassic Park. I think he had a blast. My friend took pictures so they will come.
