Ellie's Patriotic Program

Ellie had her patriotic program today.  I totally forgot that the kids were suppose to wear red, white, and blue.  The best part was I just happened to dress in red, white, and blue today.  I would look like the worlds worst mom if my sweet girl was sitting on the stand in her purple and green outfit and I am out in the audience wearing patriotic colors.  Good thing I went to take pics of her class before the program so that I had a second to run home and have her change.  And boy oh boy do we have some patriotic stuff at our house.

Ellie looked darling all dolled up.
It was so neat to watch Miss Ellie in her program.  She knew all the words.  This girl was born to be a star.   She sang her little heart out.

It is always great when grandparents come to watch.
Thank you Mama for coming.
Grandpa is a veteran so he was sung to by the second grade.  Lucky guy.
Thanks for coming Grandpa.
We were so proud of our little lady.  She performed so well.  It really is such a cute program.

hApPy firSt biRthDay eMry

We can't believe that Emry is one.  Where did the time go?  She has been such a joy to this family.  We all adore her.  She is literally a blessing to our family.  She is funny though.  With the exception of Ellie all of my babies were talking at one.  It is crazy to me that she doesn't even say Dada.  She will...I hope.  She is on the verge of walking.  I see it happening soon.  She is just a delight.

I decided that since this was my very last "first birthday" I wanted to go out with a bang.  Plus, this is the first time I have ever had a birthday in a warm season.  So I got super pumped to put on a carnival.  We call Emry Poppins and because of that I decided what better than a carnival theme from Mary Poppins.  Now, do to the fact that we are not millionaires I couldn't put on a real carnival but we could improvise.

One of my most favorite parts of the party had to be the Cut out head of Mary and Burt that JJ made.  I was so impressed by JJ.  He did a wonderful job.  Emma helped also.  She painted Mary's hat.  It made the party.  It was literally a hit for everyone.

The lady of the hour and her best man.
We also had a props picture booth.  Everyone had a fun time doing this.  It is always fun to be a little silly.
The younger girls had the most fun with it.
Emry's family had a fabulous time with everyone.
It was so fun to see her roll around on the grass with papa.  They had a beautiful moment.

It was so much fun to see everyone OUTSIDE enjoying a beautiful evening.  This is the first outdoor party for the Snowpack.
Everyone else had their moment having a photo shoot.  Now it was Miss Emry Kate's turn.

 Daddy getting his golf on.
I loved these behind the scene.

All of the behind the scene action going on could not be left out.  Everyone had their phones and ipads out getting pics.  Jana was an awesome "aunt" to hold the board for all the pics.  And daddy brought down the cake.
What is a cake smashing without a few pics.
Here she is getting ready.
Now it is go time.
I love her sweet face in all of these.
This has to be one of my favorite cake pictures.  She just loves this boy.
And of course she shared with her best man

 All done!
And here is to all the people that made this party a success.  We love the support of family and friends.  For some lame reason I did not get a pic of Emry  with the Johns family but they are not to be excluded in this little love fest.
Happy birthday baby girl.  We love you!

The Graduate

Preschool graduation is a big deal around these parts.  They have a big program to show off all the awesome stuff they learned throughout the year.

Elsie has learned a lot.  She knows her shapes, her numbers, her colors, and her alphabet.  She can even write her name.
She did a great job on the program and said her part perfectly.
"We learned about friendship and made some great friends too."
And she sang like a star performing her little heart out.
Then it was time to graduate and get her diploma.  She was so excited.
Elsie graduated with her bestie Paige
Our cute little playgroup.  And all the girls in the class.
Ellie was so proud of Elsie.  Ellie also graduated from Ms. Marilee's class
 Elsie and Ms. Marilee
Grandma and Grandpa were so proud of Elsie
Mama and Papa thought she was amazing.
And Mom and Dad were beaming
Elsie worked so hard and we are so proud of her accomplishment.  Kindergarten look out this smarty is coming to learn.

Our Next Top Models (major picture overload)

Elsie and Ellie were asked to do a photo shoot for one of our friends who has a boutique in the area.  The girls had a lot of fun.  They even got to keep the outfits after they were done.

Here we have Ellie in the Minnie Mouse birthday outfit.
There is no question here folks this girls loves her country.
Look out ladies and gents I think this little princess might have been born on the 4th of July
These two had so much fun.  Don't let the smiles fool you, it was freezing.

Sassafrass

We were there too.  I forgot the stroller and it made it hard to change the clothes of each girl and hold this lady.  The ground was wet from rain.  I love to make my life easy.
