Swimming

This just might be my most favorite picture of this little lady.  I think she is adorable in it.

We headed over to the pool.  Jamie called and said they were going so we thought why not.  It actually wasn't too bad.  Shaela and Emma were a big help with the girls.  Elsie moves right along with that cast now so she did great.

 These two are adroable
Emry of course did not sleep a wink.  She loved it.
When did this happen.  This is not a little girl anymore.  She is growing up WAY TO FAST.

I can't believe summer is almost over.  This summer was a bust.  Hopefully next summer we will be back together.

Day two of Daddy Gone: City Creek Day

This little lady is getting hit hard by my late night chick flicks.  She was so tired she opted to sleep in her own bed instead of mine.  Man she must have been tired.
Apparently JJ is getting hit hard as well. haha
And apparently, there is twin ghosts behind Elsie and Papa.  Freaky.
Ellie is still very sunkissed and she looks adorable.
Ohmygoodness, her hair is killing me.  She is about the cutest thing that ever was.
JJ really wanted to go to H&M and CottonOn so we had to head to City Creek.  Seventh grade is a big deal.  We must shop at these stores...according to his big brother Michael. I mean Uncle.
The kids thought it was a lot of fun to look out at the street and also see the temple.

Don't hate me for saying this but I am not that impressed.  Eek, there I said it.  I guess it is cool, for the spoil wealth elite group of people but for the little people like me it is just ehh, okay.  I mean really H&M is overrated.  Out of Utah it is just another  store.
I do like having Disney Store though.  Maybe someday we will make it on time to turn the key.  that would make me like the mall more.  haha
Okay, I am kind of grumpy.  I actually do love the buzz of the city and that part of it is fun.  I just don't love the stores because most of them I can only look not touch.  That is never any fun for me.

Three Months Old, Picnic in the Park, and Spanky's

Three months has flown by.  This little lady is the love of our lives.  We can not get enough of her.  She has the prettiest eyes, she has the most peaceful disposition.  Honestly, she is practically perfect in every way.  She sleeps almost through the night.  Mostly she adores me.  I love how happy she is to see me every single time I look at her.  I could just swallow her up.

Tonight we decided to go to Spanky's and have a picnic in the park by us.  It was so relaxing to just go and run around the park.  The kids loved being outside and the evenings are starting to get nice.

We have had a hard time with the weather and a new baby so it was nice to have a peaceful evening outside with Miss Emry.

My favorite ice cream flavor is bubble gum.  Yes, bubble gum and Spanky's has it.  Mmmmm.  I didn't get myself one and we drove off and I really wished I had.  After  a few bites of ice cream Ellie said "Done".  And gave me hers. "Yes, Please!"  I then told them all that Ellie is now my favorite child.
Now for picture overload.  The sun was perfect and the kids were cheeky.  Makes me happy.

Golden light

SInce it was dads last night to be gone the kids wanted to have a sleepover in my room.  So, like a sucker I allowed it.  I slept on the couch.  hmmmm

This was my favorite part of the sleepover.  When they were all asleep.  Aren't they angels when they sleep.

Day One of Dad Being Gone

I have a problem, when Jeron is gone I feel it is my time to stay up late and watch all the chick flicks I want. So, yes I went to bed WAY TO LATE. I did get in some good snuggles with this little bundle though.

With a new cast on Elsie and all this time on our hands we decided that there was only one place to go.  The pool of course.  Emma's sweet little BFF Mikaela came with us.
They are just too cute
The happy little swimmer.
the little fish
Oh yes, that is barbies in the pool
My little pool partner
We even got this guy to come with us.
I cant get enough of her.  scrumptious

We really did have a wonderful time.  The kids loved the pool and the older kids were extremely helpful.  It is nice having older kids.

A little sun on my girls looks good.  I was starting to worry that no one would look sunkissed all summer.

Boys will be boys

Jeron has these friends that are real trouble makers. They think that they can take him EVERY Thursday night for basketball and now they have decided that they need a guys trip at least once a year. You know, to get away for all the crazy of life.  I actually love these guys.  Jeron has some great times with them and I know they take the edge off of all the stress he feels.  Plus, they are total goof balls so I just laugh when they are around.  It makes me happy that Jeron has them.  Hey, also when the cats away the mice will play.  The kids and I can do whatever we want not.  hehehehe

Jeron was having a hard time leaving Emry.  I had to pry her way from him.  They are headed to Flaming Gorge to fish and chill out.  I hope you guys have a great time.  And honey, we will miss you...a little.  With all the fun we will be having we might forget to miss you.  Hahaha

The big day!

We have been talking about this day for weeks.  Elsie was able to go and get her purple long cast off and get the new short one on.  At least we hoped that is what would happen.  it is crazy to watch how they cut those bad boys off.  I would be so nervous.  Elsie didn't seem worried at all.
Everything was looking good so they went ahead and put on the the short WATER PROOF cast.  Wahoo! It is a bit weird the conditions they give you.  You have to get it wet at least once a day.  It has to be fresh water.  It can't have soap in it.  Nothing can be put down in it.  The material can cut off your circulation if something is placed in there.  AWESOME! It is a bit weird but hey, its the summer and she can swim now and take a bath.  She still can't get in the sand box, but she will survive.
And the color is PINK

Brigham City Temple

Monday nights are getting harder and harder to have family night. I got an email at about 4pm that our ward was going to the temple for family night with the young men.  I quickly called Jeron and he was on board.  So we hurried and changed all the kids into their sunday best and headed out for our drive to Brigham City.  I love being able to go inside the temple with my kids.  I love being able to talk to them about what they are seeing and explain why it is such a wonderful place.

This temple did not disappoint.  We got a different experience this time.  We went on the wheelchair tour.  (okay not that much different, just JJ and Elsie went in the elevator and they clean off the tires before they go in.)  They have a temple approved chair that you use.  It was nice for when we toured the grounds because it fit both Ellie and Elsie.  The inside of the temple was BEAUTIFUL!  I loved all the pictures on the walls.  There was one of Mary and Joseph that I HAVE TO HAVE!  Brigham City is known for their peaches and they have a beautiful painting of a woman picking peaches.  It made me tear up a bit.  Not only was the temple beautiful but the people were so kind.  I could feel how excited they were for a temple in their area.  They really are a sweet community.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the night.  Salt Lake Temple is my favorite temple and always will be but this is definitely my second favorite.
I hope if you get the chance you will go to an open house of a temple in your area.  There is such a peace inside of the temple.  Plus, if your curious about our temples you get a chance to see exactly what I see whenever I go.

Family Vacation up Millcreek

This year with a broken leg it has been hard to know what to do with Miss Elsie.  It has put a cramp in our style.  We decided to just do a quick family vacation to the cabin.  We LOVE it there so it really was the perfect place.  Look at these happy faces.  Can't you just see the joy in their faces.
We literally just chillaxed the whole time.  We colored outside, we played games, we hung out, we hiked, we went to the creek, we saw a big FAT squirrel, we made hobo dinners, we roasted marshmallows.

We went down to the creek and tortured JJ.  He would go stand in the water and every time he turned his back we would throw rocks right by him causing him to get splashed.  We thought it was hilarious but JJ didn't.  (I still think it was)
Mama and Papa made it up one of the nights to have smores with us.  It was great to spend time with them.  Dad of course is always working on some project just like when I was a kid.  He hasn't changed a bit.  Still a work horse.  When they left we got ready for bed.  Gave the kids a shower...Yes, a shower.  It was so nice.  All the sudden Papa and Mama came back into the cabin to tell us as they were driving down the canyon about a mile from the cabin a cougar went in front of their car.  A COUGAR!!!  AWESOME!  Earlier that day I had felt like we were being watch.  So much so that I moved Emry from the ground up to the table by us.  I even told Jeron this when him and JJ came back from their little trip to the city to get breakfast.

I love getting away from the world to to spend time with these peeps.  I love this family of mine.
