Feeling Better and the weather was beautiful!
I have made the kids be cooped up in the house due to my pain, so I figured I would take them to the park and have a picnic. They didn't know where we were going so I thought that they would be excited. We get there and JJ said "this is so boring". I was crushed. Why can an eight year old bother me so much. Anyway about a minute after that he said "thanks mom this is so fun". It turned out to be nice for all of us. We had a good time and I was able to relax with my kids. We left the phone in the van and just had "us" time. We haven't had much of that lately. It was nice.

Picnics are so fun! Sorry to hear about your infection, I'm glad you're starting to feel better. One of these days when you're feeling 100% I would love to visit you. If you ever feel like just hanging out, let me know. I specialize in relaxing and doing nothing :)
So sorry you haven't been feeling well! Sounds like you are on the up and up which is good. How do you manage to still do such fun things with your kiddos when you feel crumby? You are one truly amazing mommy!!
Looks like a really fun day. Those potato chips Ellie is eating look pretty good too. I must be hungry. Do you think Ellie would share?
I'm with you...I get crushed by stuff my kids say too. I have to remind myself "She's five, don't take it personally" but its hard sometimes!
