...a girl can dream can't she

My sister and her husband just went to England. While they were there they took some pictures of my future home...I wish. I don't know what it is but I just long to go and see the rolling country hills. Maybe it is that my ancestors lived there and so really a part of me is there. I see pictures of Hawaii and think it is beautiful, but when I see pictures from England my heart almost aches to be there. One of these days I will get my chance...I hope!

Maren I hope you don't mind me stealing your pictures. I just can't believe that you actually took pictures of where I am suppose to live. I am sure of it!

HAHA... you're funny you stole my pics. :) The pic of the really big cottage was taken because I told Ryan that was my dream house. It overlooks Lake Grasmere and is just GORGEOUS. I think that we should all pull our money together... and by all i mean all of your in-laws, all of my in-laws and all of smitty's in-laws. Good plan? But anyway, I really hope you make it there someday too. I too had that yearning to be there - to just know your in a place where your ancestors once were is a great feeling. I feel the same way about Palmyra... it sort of feels like a home away from home.

I'm totally and completely with you--I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to England, plus Scotland, Ireland, and Germany. The old buildings, cobblestone roads, big castles, beautiful rolling hills and greenery---I can't wait to go!!

How come I don't have the same desire as the rest of you to visit Europe? It is okay if you are gasping out loud with that statement. I find myself rather odd as well. Of course after seeing Maren's pictures I could see myself loving it. Maybe it is the thought of leaving home. I just am not good at that. Maybe when I am older...oh wait, I am older! Shoot!!

I'm with you--England over Hawaii any day...probably because it looks like parts of Seattle, my home sweet home.

Beautiful! I would love to go to England too. In fact I copied Maren's itinerary for Jared just in case he thinks, Wow, I should take Laura there!

Our next Europe trip will be to England and Scotland. I have always wanted to go to both of those places as well. I'm going to have to wait until the dollar is worth something again though.

I lived in Hawaii and have been to Europe twice and I like Europe better so you have good taste!

Let's pack up and take this trip together. Wouldn't we have a blast?! Heck, if we can have such a great time at Farmington Christmas, we could totally have the time of our lives half way across the world.

you and Doug would just have so much fun over there. He has been begging me for years to go. That's where he served his mission. But for me it is Hawaii all the way. The pictures are beautiful though.
