Back to School Fashion Show

For Family Night this week Jeron thought it would be fun to do a back to school fashion show. He even came up with the catwalk idea. So we set up a runway with Christmas lights and helped the kids get their clothes in piles in the "dressing room" and moved the couch for the audience to watch. I took pictures like they were in a real fashion show. We even had cue cards. It was a lot of fun.
Here is the cat walk and you can see the dressing room in the back.
JJ was a good sport to go along with our plan for the night.
I actually think he would make a fantastic model.

Emma was a little more reserved at first but soon warmed up to it all.
We did her hair and makeup crazy like the real models.

You know, I think the stage is where Miss Ellie is suppose to be.
She ate it up. She posed without being told to.

Can you just say DIVA! Wow this girl loves the camera.
after the pictures were taken and she loved her pose she had to "come see"
Elsie did not get new clothes she just wore ones she had.

All the kids displaying their favorite outfit.
All in all it was a very fun family home evening. I just love my kids and my cute hubby for having such a fun idea.

Sometimes I'm glad we don't live closer. My kids would never stop telling me how cool the Meads are and when can we do...

Fun, fun idea.
