This year was just a tad bit crazy. The night before school the power went out. For 18 hours. This meant that we had to get ready in the morning without power. Emma had been planning for 2 weeks to do her hair in braids the night before and then take them out so it was crimpy. This turned out to be a very wise hair style. We didn't need curling irons, flat irons, or blow dryers. IT was perfect. And well JJ he was fine.
Not bad for no electricity.

I can't believe I have a 5th grader and a 3rd grader. Yikes they are getting old.

Ellie and Elsie were sad to see them go. After this we headed straight up to my moms so that Ellie could get her hair done for her big Kindergarten moment.

I can't believe they are in school already. We didn't get to play nearly enough this summer. Hope they have a great year. They look stinkin' cute no power and all!!
Can't believe that Emma and JJ are so big. I know my kids grow, but I forget others do as well. Emma looks darling and I love her outfit! Such a blast from the past...but cuter!
Have a fabulous School Year!! They all look awesome for their 1st day back! Are you still doing the Spanish thing? I bet they are almost fluent by now!
