Today was crazy hair day at school. Yesterday Emma informed me that she wanted to win. What? I didn't know it was a competion. I was so not prepared to go up against the other talented, creative, and crafty Moms I live around. Doesn't the school know that if my daughter looses it will be all my fault. SO the pressure was on. I couldn't sleep and when I did I would dream about her hair. So here is the hair. I think it was pretty funky, crazy, and weird! She was so excited and kept saying "I am totally going to win!" I was excited for her but so worried that she would be let down. There would be no one to blame but me. I didn't have time to go and buy hair coloring and sparkles and all the things needed to win. So I sent her on her way not expecting her to win.

Here is Emma at school. She really did look cute. I think she looks like the girl on Grinch.

We had to show the back of course.

Emma's Class They won by class. There was a boy and a girl that won in each class. This would have been nice to know earlier. I thought that it was against the whole school. Just her class is something I can handle.
The other Spanish Class with Ms. Tia

As soon as the kids got home JJ tells me that Emma won. Then Emma came in and didn't say anything so I say "Well?" She gets this huge grin on her face and says "I WON!" I was so excited for her, but so relieved that she wasn't going to be upset with me. Now I can go back to my normal worries. Seriously though, there were some way fun things that some of the Mothers did.

Like you didn't think you could do her hair so that she would win! You have always been creative when it comes to hair!! She looks awesome and what a fun thing to do. Better than pajama day in my opinion!!

Way to go Megan! I think I will have to be a little more prepared for next year...I had no idea the high expectations of our kids. Glad you had pics of the classes...so fun :)

Wow, I am so impressed!! How did you get it to stick out like that?!? I guess that is why I have all boys, I wouldn't even be able to dream up such things let alone do them!! Congrats on winning the craziest hair Emma!!

Her hair is sooo cute. Sh so deserves to win. Madi won in her class as well. It was fun. She had tiny ponytails all over with braids. I haven't posted any pictures yet.

How fun! I'm glad she won, especially for you! I think the reason I have only boys is because I don't do hair...you may have to teach me one day.
