We had a decision to make. Park City is basically shut down because of the Swine Flu. Brock was having a birthday party at the Rec center in Kamas. Do we go? The kids were hilarious. As soon as we told them that we might be going to Park City Emma and JJ screamed "NO!" This is not the normal reaction to asking this question. They love PC. It turns out in school their teachers had told them about PC having Swine Flu...and that they needed to be careful not to get it. At this point in our cute kids minds PC=Swine Flu. After basically talking them into going(and our selves a little) we headed up there.
All was good that was until we got out of the car and Elsie seemed a little warm. She was just hot from being in the car. Right? So we go in get changed into the swimsuits and put Elsie in with Daddy. She fell to sleep in his arms almost immediately. By this point she is burning up. The pool actually helped her fever come down. I am sure that would make everyone else there that day feel better. Jeron and I kept joking with each other that "we have only been in PC for 10 min and already one of the kids caught the Swine Flu. I guess JJ over heard us saying this and at school the following Monday tells his teacher that his baby sister has Swine Flu. Really she was just cutting teeth. Poor baby.
The Kamas Rec center is just like Bountiful Bubble. Yes we drove an hour and a half to go to the bubble. Ellie was playing and having fun so Jeron decided to take Ellie down the big water slide. YIKES! Bad idea. That was it for Ellie. So she spent the rest of the time with Mom on the sides. That was until about ten minutes before we had to get out. Then she went on the slide one more time with Daddy. She just had to get use to it.
Emma really did come with us, but because she is such a fishy we never saw her long enough to take her picture. She had a blast though. I think she went down the slide about fifty times. At least that much.
JJ had just as much fun in the pool, but after he got out he got to climb the rock wall. Now that was fun, scary, exciting, butterflies in the stomach kind of stuff. He loved it and made it pretty far. He did a great job for his first time. (Emma wouldn't do it. So again no pic)

Thanks Brock for inviting us. We had a really fun time.

Ah, the swine flu scare. Everywhere we went last week we were doused in germ-ex at the door. Looks like fun!
