Our first picture!
Early Saturday morning just outside our hotel
This has been a trip nine years in the making. When we had JJ our good friends the Johns were prego with their first. We decided that we would go to Cali when JJ turned eight. Due to complications in 2008 we had to postpone our trip to this year. Now it has finally happened and it was such a wonderful time. I can't believe that it has already come and gone. We had so much fun. Thank you Johns for planning this with us. Thanks for making our trip so incredible. We love you guys!

PS: Jeron really is that burned! Poor Guy!
Our little kiddos with the exception of JJ have never seen the ocean. JJ was only ten months so he doesn't remember it at all. It was pretty exciting for all of them. After about a 45 minute hike with my four kids we finally met up with Daddy and the cooler on the beach. We were told by a local that there was a better way to enter with kids just two more places down the path. We walked it while Jeron took the suburban to the last parking lot. This is when we lost him. The Johns family headed down the path and the kids and I headed out in search of Daddy. We walked forever before we finally found him. You can imagine how frustrated the kids were. They just wanted to get to the beach. Once there the kids ran to the water and thought it was amazing. JJ made the comment, "I know why they thought the world was flat." I thought that was great. His mind is always working. We stayed here all day. It was the best way to start off our trip.

This is the sandcastle that Ellie and Mommy built.

This was a wonderful way to babysit Elsie. I always knew where she was.

Daddy and JJ spent most of the day like this.

Collecting Seashells was another thing the kids loved!

Everyone thought this was great, expect Ellie.
At first she didn't want to do it. Then she saw all the kids doing it so she had to have a turn.
Our Little Mermaid
"I don't know when, I don't know how but I know somethings starting right now! Watch and you'll see, someday I'll be PART OF YOUR WORLD"

I don't know how she can stand all the sand on her.

This is where Elsie slept for two hours. Oh, that was nice.
Daddy buried alive
Jeron returning the favor to Graydon

Playing ball with G
After a day at the beach nothing is better then a little crab. We found this place eight years ago and have dreamed of the day we would be back.
Hey does any one know "does the Crab Cooker have crab?"

This is a picture that we took last time we were here. We had to recreate it.
We had so much fun at the beach. We could have spent our whole time there. Even me with all my lotion issues. Come to think of it, I didn't even need it. CRAZY! The kids were content all day to just play. What more do you need then sun and surf!?!...and of course great friends.

Don't you worry there will be more! This is just the first day!
