cAlifOrNia dAy tWo, paRt oNe: neWpOrt teMple

On Sunday we went to a church we found that was right by the Newport Temple. It is one of the small temples. In fact when we were driving to Newport Emma said "Hey Mom, look there is a Temple." I said "No honey, it is a really pretty building but it is too small, It looks like it might be another churches building. " Then as we were passing I looked and saw the Angel Moroni. That is when I knew it was a temple. Emma was right all along. There I go thinking I know everything.

Anyway, we decided to go take pictures at the temple after church. It was fun to take the kids to the temple. I had planned on maybe going to the LA temple so this was nice to have one so close. They loved to run around and look at all the pretty flowers and fountains.
The kids just outside the Temple
Ellie loved to watch the water and put her hand in it.

Jeron and I in our pose we always do in front of a temple. It is weird, but seriously we always pose the exact same way.

The kiddos again.

I love this picture.

The ladies

I love this of JJ.

The fellas

JJ gave me that flower. I don't know how many times I tell him not to pick them. He always is picking them for me. It is hard to be to mad at that.
I think she really enjoyed crawling around.
I love going to see the temple when I am on vacation. They are so pretty and there is always a peace you feel when you are at them. I think the kids loved it just as much.

So your posts are way better than mine! Oh well...what else is new! Shellie told me that there is a Newport Beach temple that is new so maybe that is where we were. It looked pretty new to me. Love all the pictures!!

P.S. Any update on my neighbors table?

That temple doesn't look that small. That's funny you didn't believe Emma... she's so smart!
