We had plans to go with the kids to see Brave. We were all heading out to the car when JJ and Emma decided to get in a fight. Elsie started screaming at Jeron and I. Jeron and I both turned to each other and shook our heads. If these kids want to go to a movie they have a funny way of showing it. We asked them to stop and not one of them listened. Through all of this Ellie was quietly sitting in her carseat waiting to go see the movie. The other three kids just kept at it. Very abruptly Jeron and I decided NO MOVIE! Poor little miss Ellie was devastated and rightfully so. Knowing that we would take the kids to the movie another time I didn't really want to take Ellie without them so instead I took her out for ice cream just the two of us. She loved this. It was fun to spend time with her and just her.
And after ice cream she was happy as a lark. Who needs a movie anyway.
