A few of my favorite things...

The Sound of Music has always been one of my most favorite things.  I love everything about it.  It reminds me of my Grandma which makes me happy.  That is why when my mom and dad called and said they were getting tickets for everyone I was so excited...that is until I realized that I would have a brand new baby.  This meant I was out.  Boo is too young to attend the theater so she was out as well.  And lets face it Jeron opted out. JJ, Emma, and Ellie were lucky enough to get to attend.  I have never been so jealous of my kids when my parents picked them up.  I should have taken a picture because they all looked so cute.

Elsie along with me was pretty jealous.  She too loves the Sound of Music.  So to take her mind off of the play we took her to feed the birds at Layton Park.  We had a lot of fun.  She loves animals and it is fun to see how our little scardy cat isn't afraid of all the ducks and geese chasing her.  After the ducks we played at the park there.  They have all the old school things which is always fun.

There is no one that loves her daddy more than this girl.

When we got home the kids were so excited to tell us all about it.  They had a wonderful time with Mama and Papa.  They loved every minute and it sounded amazing.  They were also excited to tell us that they actually ran into Grandma B, Grandma, and Grandpa at the play.  Funny bumping into them there.  Elsie also had a great time doing one of her favorite things.
