4th of July night

My only request on the 4th is that we go to the fireworks at Davis High.

Okay, maybe that isn't my only request but it is my top request.

We go over the night before and get the perfect spot.  

I usually set up way to many blankets in hopes that everyone will come.

This year we were lucky enough to have some of Jeron's family come with us.  We were all sitting around at Jeff and Tara's house and figured nobody would be coming with us since my parents couldn't make it and David and Michael hadn't responded to my text.  I threw it out there and was excited that they all decided to come.  Even Jeff, who I think had had it by then came. 

We get the kids glow sticks every year and I think they really look forward to that.  I like it because it keeps them entertained without us having to buy really expensive ones at the field.

It was fun for them to share with their cousins too.

I had basically given up on David and Michael when I get a call minutes before the fireworks that Michael and Brynn were coming.  I was so excited. Good think Courtney was there.  She stood up and they used her as a beacon to find us.  After all she is 6'2"

It was a great fireworks show and we had a fantastic day.  You know you have had a great time when you can fall asleep in the stroller sitting up.
