This is our last class. It started to hail on Ellie's class so they had to get out. She couldn't figure out how to walk without stepping on the hail, and not get hit on the head by them either. It was kind of cute to see her wonder what to do. Don't worry I ran and got her quickly.
Jason is always great with JJ. As soon as we got there Jason said JJ do the dolphin. JJ then becomes the dolphin for the rest of swim lessons. For those of you who don't know JJ can sound like a dolphin. Jason has loved this for the past four years.Jason loves it almost as much as JJ. I think JJ loves the attention. JJ is doing really well. He is able to swim in the deep end with out any trouble. This is a relief. Maybe the kids and I can go to the pool this year.Emma adores Emily and always has, but this year Emma took a real interest in Jason. He is pretty fun so I think Emma enjoyed playing around with him. Don't get me wrong she still loves Emily. Emma is very confident in the water now. She will not be a worry at the pool this year. She learned a lot and has a really pretty stroke. Emma was fortunate to take lessons with her BFF Bailey which always makes things more fun.
Ellie wasn't to sure about lessons this year. It took her a minute to want to get in but she warmed up and became a water lover pretty quickly. She still stays on the steps and won't go out without help. (which I am glad for) Ellie got to have friends in her class as well. It is fun to see her face light up when she sees her friends.
Liz Clark loves Ellie. She saw Ellie shivering during a lesson so she went and put a towel around her.
Elsie didn't have lessons but oh my that girl has NO fear. I am going to have to watch that one like a hawk. She kept trying to get in the pool by walking off the edge. She reminds me of Emma pre-drowning days. YIKES!
Papa came over on the last day to see how the kids were doing. Elsie got most of his attention. Look at the dramatic weather, Hail for Ellie and now bright and sunny.
During one of the lessons we saw a Mommy Quail and her babies. 15 to be exact. We even saw the Daddy. In the picture the Mommy is in the bush.
