Meads Cookie Party

This is the first year in all the years that we have done the cookie party with cousins.  The kids were elated to get to have all the family there this time.    I always have a great time doing the gingerbread houses.  I mean really, you put a candy on and you eat a candy.  You squeeze a dab of frosting on the house and a squirt in your mouth as well.  Like I said, It is always a great time.  It is so fun to see the kids get so creative.  It was also fun to see Smitty really get into it.  Jeron was a great helper to Miss ELsie and David was awesome to help with Ellie.

Elsie is in the zone.  This is serious business.  

 Can't wait to see what this guy creates.

 Kassey got in some good snuggles with Emry, until she had to leave to take Uncle Carl to the airport.

 Emma always does such a great job. She is a real artist.

 Smitty claimed he was doing his for Genevieve but I think he was doing it for himself.

 It really was the best time having everyone there.  Maren was on one end taking pics and I am on the other. Haha

 Men at Work

 Ellie was in heaven with all the attention she was getting. 

 After we did Gingerbread houses Ellie was the lucky little lady who got to open her Christmas present.  The reason is because Genevieve had her for Christmas and since they were leaving we did hers early.

 I am pretty sure this is just what she wanted.  She loved her.

 It was so great to finally meet this little princess.  We got in some good snuggles.  She is such a beautiful little lady.  

 Here we have a couple of knuckle heads.   

 We ended the night playing cranium.  It was a lot of fun.  And a lot of not fun.  I loved it though, even though I proved to everyone that I can not hum to save my life.  Oh and Yes, that is Uncle Carl.  When Kassey took him to the airport they got there just a bit too late and missed his flight.  I can't say I am too sad about that.  Elsie was happy too.  She loves her Uncle baby butt. 

I am extremely sad that Smitty, Ashlee, and Genevieve have to leave.  I will miss them so much.  I sure did love having my entire family home even it was only for a few days.  On a side note, Michael and Brynn are flying to France as we speak.  LUCKY!
