Happy Anniversary to Us

Last night Ellie went to bed around 6pm. I knew this meant that she was probably getting sick. Around 2:30am she came into our bed. At 7:00am we woke to her dry heaving. Jeron turned to me and said "happy anniversary" in a sarcastic way. He felt bad that we weren't going to have some fabulous vacation or even a night out. It was then that I realized this is exactly what 10 years is all about. We are in the middle of it all. Our life is right where is should be. So here's to sick kids, soccer games, FHE gone crazy, running around, grocery shopping, school, laundry, feedings, wrestling, craziness, commute to work, toe nail clipping, ballet, story telling, traffic, booboo healing, finger prints, messy faces, doing hair, making ends meet, watching them grow, kid music instead of ours, toys everywhere, playing baseball, family times, loving life, and wanting many many more years with this man I call my husband.

Jeron I love you and am so happy that we got married all those years ago. We have made it through a lot. We have had our ups and downs, and through it all there is no one else I would rather do it with then you. I hope the next ten years bring us all the happiness in the world. It has been great to learn and grow as husband/wife, and father/mother together. We have done a lot I would never do again, and things that I am very proud of. I love that we learn this all together. We will continue to "try a little harder to be a little better". I can't wait to see all that we will continue to do through these years. I love you so much. Thanks for asking me to marry you.
