cHriStmAs dAnCe rEcitAl

It was our girls Christmas Dance Recital again. Emma did really well. She was so nervous before the recital. She was worried that she didn't know it, and that her teacher wouldn't be on stage with her. She did really well in spite of all her jitters. It is fun to see her improve every year and see the beautiful ballerina that she is becoming.

Ellie had her recital after Emma's. We went back to the house inbetween the two. We had hot cocoa and cinnamon rolls. Then we all headed back to the performance.

I always wonder how Ellie will do. She came right out on stage, waved at everyone, and danced away. She even did the moves this time. She looked just as good as any of the other kids. It was so wonderful to see her improve. I got all choked up when I noticed that she actually knew the dance. It was exciting.

We love all the support that we get from family. This year all the grandparents were able to make it and even Courtney. It was a lot of fun for Emma to have her "big" cousin there to see her dance. Emma and Ellie are very grateful to those who came. See you in the Spring.
