Hands, Parades, and Bones

Today started out with some weirdness and ended even worse.  I was looking at Ellie's hand to check out her thumb when I noticed this on her finger.  I have no idea what it could be.  It looks awful painful though.  I guess that it is time to see the doctor again.
Our stake entered a float into the Days of 47 parade.  Tonight it made its rounds through the stake to show it off.  It was actually really cute.  I am glad we waited to head to Park City so we could see it.

We got our car packed up and headed on our way to Park City.  Of course it was raining and I love driving in the rain, especially at night.  We came around a turn heading down hill when It jumped out of nowhere.  It hit hard and it made a thud.  We all were terrified because the sound was horrid and the van felt like it was going to flip.  The rest of the way driving we were nervous about getting a flat tire but lucky for us we didn't get one.  We did however smell something funky.  When we got to the parking garage and got out we could smell something even more.  It was awful.  It made me start dry heaving it smelled so bad.  Then we saw it...blood on the ground...then we saw the bone.  The sight and the smell made me almost lose my dinner.  It was horrid.  We were all screaming, we called papa and he came down to check it out.  Thank goodness he was there to get this picture for all of your viewing pleasure.
If you are not throwing up yet you should be.  It was so gross.  I believe I hit a dead carcass.  So the smell was horrid.  Thank goodness my dad was there because he took my car and cleaned it for me.  According to JJ guts were flying all over the wall of the car wash.  EEEKKKKKK!
