Sunday Splendor

We had a great Sunday stroll. We went up Farmington Canyon and just took in all the beauty. The water levels are so HIGH, which means everything is so green and beautiful. There is a pond up there that the kids love.

Of course JJ is lacking in pictures because he was off doing what JJ does.
The girls stick by us but he just goes, explores, and has a great time.
There is a part where you can see the water coming off the pond and it was very impressive.
We spent a lot of time looking at it.
Jeron even got Emma and JJ to walk down the slope with him to get a closer look.

This picture represents so much to me.
Emma will need to take her dads hand for him to show her the way.
It is my fav pic of the day.
These birds were hilarious.  We would pretend to throw food and they would come
from across the pond.  SUCKER!  They would hiss at us when they realized there was no food.  Haha
The kids kept calling the white ones "Snots" They were the hissers.
Ellie has a camera pose.  I don't think I noticed this before.
My fav though was the tree one.  She actually asked me to take that one.
Boo had a great time running all over.  She would start to lag behind and then run at us crying like we had left her.  She makes me laugh.  What goes on in that head of hers.  She was singing the whole time.
This dog was bigger than me.  Elsie was the only one of my kids that would touch him.
His name is Mike.  He was a huge dog but a sweet one.  He kept trying to lick her face.  His tongue was huge.  She went and sat with him and snuggled on the ground.  It was too cute.
Emma is getting so old.  When did this happen?  She looks like a preteen.  It is crazy.
She had a lot of  fun.
And as you can tell I had a lot of fun also.
I love the wild flowers.
They all looked so beautiful this time of year.
After all was said and done it was just a wonderful family day.

What a great day! I haven't figured out when car fights stop. We haven't made it that far yet.
