Its great to be eight

Ellie turned eight today. I can hardly believe she is already eight years old. Time really does fly by.  She is doing so good and we are so proud of all she has accomplished in these short eight years.  She has decided to get baptized and that is a really wonderful choice.  She keeps showing us how she will do it and is really excited.   This year just like in years past Ellie really wants Barbies for her birthday.  Surprise.  Little does she know  she also gets a really pretty white dress.
She got to open her presents in the morning because she just couldn't wait.
She was pretty excited.  We felt bad because JJ had to miss it.  But the show must go on.

She opened the box and said Ohh, in a hmmm, not what I expectd but okay voice.
Then she liked it.
But loved this.
Oh no she plays like her mommy.

All ready for school.  Ellie was excited for her chalk drawing outside.  It was Hannah Montana.

After school Kaiya came home with Ellie.  These two just adore each other.

For Ellie's birthday she wanted to swim. We all headed over to the Bountiful Rec Center for some swimming fun.

Kaiya was a hand full.  That girl doesn't stop and has NO fear.  We had to fill out a report because she jumped in the pool without us.  Jeron and I just laughed.  She was never in danger but she was cRaZy.  haha.

Ellie stayed in the kiddie area because she is scared.  So, Kaiya and Ellie didn't spend a ton of time together.  But they didn't mind.  They just loved being together.

They love talking together.  I love catching these moments.

Jeron got to be the lucky one to be in the middle of this adorable littles sandwich.
(see the wall in the back, thats the one Kaiya went over)

Now, I know it is Ellie's birthday post but I had to put this pic of Emry on.  Look at those eyes.  Mmmmm

After we headed to McDonald's   Ellie loves McDonald's   They had a great time.  I on the other hand had the heeby geebeeys.  There was a tranny there.  eek.  Mini skirt and long hair, old man in the play land.  WHY!!!
Ellie had a great day.  We are so blessed to have her in our home.

Love this little lady.
