Weekend get away

Because we literally should call PC our second home we decided to go there again for our anniversary.  This could possibly be the very last time we have to take a child with us.  WEIRD!!!  We did totally enjoy having Emry because she is always so cute.  

 We kind of had to laugh this year because we normally spend like a whole day watching cable TV because we don't have cable.  This year we didn't need to because we have cable.  It was hilarious...  We didn't know what to do with ourselves.   We did a lot of walking around.  We felt like we were literally just here.  We did hit Park City Pizza though.

 Of course we went shopping and the only one that  got anything was this little lady and she thought she looked good.  She totally was rocking her new boots.

 We were dying to watch the Utah game so we finally found a bar that had it.  Emry was the only baby in the bar at 9pm... go figure. 

 Not only did we go to the bar but we closed the place out.  They were so nice to deal with the only two non drinkers and to let us stay until the game was over.  It was super nice.   

Happy Anniversary babe...Even though Utah lost we still had a great time.  I sure do love this man of mine.

Our last night in Park City

 We thought it would be fun to go to Kylie's softball game.  My mom likes watching softball so it was a win win for us.  It turned out to be blazing hot.  And not only was it hot but there was not a stitch of grass to be found.  Holding Emry was enough to make me go mad.  We stayed to the bitter end.  Kylie said a quick hello and that was that.  Remind me to never go to a game in July again.

  After sweating to death we knew where we needed to go...straight to the pool.

 It was great fun, when we got back to the hotel daddy was here.   The kids were so happy to see him.  They immediately went and swam with him.  

 After swimming we headed out on the "Charley" because Elsie had been dying to go.  We went up to get some ice cream and they were closed.  We did however get to see a lot of weird people.  

 When we got home from going out for a bit to get grocery's we came back to find Ellie fast asleep like this.  

Park City, Farmington, Park City

 Today is a very busy day.  Ellie has an appointment and so we head down to get her blood drawn and see what is up.  Sure enough another doctor and no answers.  We stopped in at Arctic Circle for lunch.  Emry enjoyed the free ice cream cone.

 After Arctic Circle we headed to Kaiya's house to see her and let her know we are thinking of her.  We took her a little present.  She was a bit loopy from the meds so she wasn't to happy to see us, but we love her all the same.

 Once we got back to Park City I took the kids to Main Street Pizza and Noodle.  Now the pictures might make you think it was a grand ole time but in all reality I wanted to beat every last one of them and it was not a bit of fun for me.  I need a break from these butt heads.

 When we got back papa was here and we went hot tubing with him.  

 Even though it was pretty cold the kids had a good time in the pool.  They are cray cray.  I was certainly not going to get in.

Doctors and Ice Cream

 Elsie went to the doctor today and had her Kindergarten check.  She took her little bunny with her and the bunny had the same check up as Elsie.  It turns out she is A okay.  

 When Elsie and I got back to Park City we went with Mama and Papa and met up with Erin and Matt.  We had ice cream together.  It was fun to spend time with them.  They are such a cute couple.

 This time we got to stay in Park City with Mama and Papa.  It was a lot of fun.  We swam and swam some more.  We love us some sun.

 We have very different kids.  They love to swim but all in their own way.  JJ and Emma are swimmers, Elsie is a mermaid and always wanting to look pretty, Ellie loves the pool but only from the side, and Emry isn't to sure yet. 

 After swimming we got all dolled up to stroll main street.

We all love us a good bear hug.  Ellie was the last one to do it because she wasn't sure what she thought of him.  I mean really who wants to hug a big pile of metal...which is what she thinks it is.  

Emma is still loving on the bear but thinking she is too cool...almost.

                              Not Elsie though, she is all about the bear hug.  Loves her some bear.

 We even got to go with papa, mama, and daddy.

 These two are besties.  They have such a sweet relationship.

On our little walk we headed up to where Matt and Erin Meads were staying and hung out with them for a bit.  It was fun to see them.  Erin looks so cute preggers.
