Happy Halloween

The day started off with a fun parade at the school.  Ellie decided to be a witch for this part of the day.
Emma dressed up as a vampire.
Elsie of course wanted to be a little witch as well. Ellie liked showing Elsie around her classroom.
Halloween is one of my most favoritest holidays.  I get so excited for it to come.  That is why my kids are allowed to wear multiple outfits that day.  It only comes once a year.  It is awesome to fit in as many as you can.
This year for her trick or treating outfit Elsie decided to be a cheerleader.  I have a feeling this just might be an outfit she wears a lot when she is older.
Ellie had to be just about the cutest Snow White I have ever seen.  She rocks the black hair like nobody's business.  Seriously part of me would like to make it permanent.
Grandpa always comes a bit early so he missed seeing the older two and the littlest one all decked out.  But he did get to see these little cuties.
Here's the whole spooky gang.  Frankenstein, Gypsy, Raggedy Ann, Snow White, and a Cheerleader.  It was such a fun theme.  Oh ya, my hopes were Wizard of Oz, as you can see I lost big time.
Our cute little gypsy.
Meet Frank.  He is a bit creepy.
I know I shouldn't have a favorite but this little miss stole the show.  How cute is Raggedy Ann.  I could have squished her right up.  She was adorable.

One of my favorite things that we do on Halloween is have everyone over and we eat dinner, hang out, and have fun together.

This year Mr. Mac was Clark Kent.  He looked so cute.
Uncle Jeff was a pumpkin, Tara was  kitty cat, and of course Mac stole the show here.
Who is that creepy guy with JJ?  Oh ya, it is Trevin.

As far as the adult costumes this was my favorite.  Where's Waldo and Where in the world is Carmen San Diego.   I thought it was so clever.
Fred and Wilma were pretty hot ;)
Mama and Papa get the creepiest award.  Ellie was so terrified of Papa that she wouldn't come out of her room.  It should have been sad if it wasn't so funny.  She literally was shaking every time she saw him.

This is how I found Ellie after she went to her room to get away from Papa

Emry doesn't know what to think of this green witch holding her.  Mama still got some good snuggles in though.
Seriously, she was darling!
For some reason Grandma and Grandpa missed the dressing up memo.  It's okay though.  We had fun just having them come.
Such a fun group.
If you are wondering where Emma is she is still out getting candy like a normal kid.
The kids love the witches brew that we have every year.  It is fun for me too.  Ellie and Elsie were the ones this year that loved watching the foggy air.

One of the best times of the night is going through all of your loot.  This girl made out pretty good for how short of a time she went.

Emma was pretty pleased with her candy.

Our front porch pumpkins.
After everyone had left Uncle David and Kassie came over all dressed up.  They were a prince and princess.  I think Elsie was in love with Kassie's costume.  Tyke was a frog.  So cute.  The theme was princess and the frog.  Too fun.  David actually made the crown and the cross.

Even though my wizard of Oz dreams will probably never happen it was so much fun to do all that we did.  Halloween is crazy busy but it is also crazy fun. Happy Halloween everyone.
