Carving Time

We usually try to carve pumpkins the night before Halloween so they are perfectly ready for Halloween.  We got our carve on and it was a lot of fun.  The kids are really starting to get the hang of it.  Emma and JJ are all on their own now.  Elsie, Ellie, and Emry still need a lot of help.  That leaves Jeron and I carving 5 pumpkins between the two of us.  They all turned out pretty awesom.

I just love this girl.  She is my favorite to take pictures of.   This pic shows a crazy thing.  Yes, the window is open because it was that warm.  What is the deal with Utah right now?
Emma getting her pumpkin ready
I couldn't love her more.
JJ is looking through all the ideas to see what he wants to do.   He actually ended up not using any of them and did his own idea.
It is this little ladies first pumpkin carving and she isn't too sure about what is going on.
It wouldn't be normal without Shaela here.   She is my sixth child.
Daddy always has the duty of carving all the tops off.  He is the master at making sure the lid doesn't fall back in.  BIG job, very BIG job.
Emry's finish product. (mom did it)
Here I am trying to figure out which pumpkin was mine.
Elsie is all done.  She did a ghost.  (mommy did it)
Ellie's is a happy pumpkin. (daddy did it)
JJ did the hand of Freddy Kruger.  the picture doesn't do it justice.  IT is really good.
Emma did  cute cat.  She had a little drama with hers because the tail came off and that is the end of the world.  So, after a bit of dramatics we got the tail back on and all was good.
After doing the other two pumpkins I was kind of D.U.N. Done.  So I did a real simple one.  BOO!
Dad did a pretty awesome skeleton face.
I am thinking our front porch is going to be wickedly awesome tomorrow night.
