Drive In

We decided to have some good ole fashion white trash fun.  We popped us some popcorn and headed to the drive in.  This is one of Jeron's most favorite outings.  If you think I am serious you don't know Jeron very well.  He hates the drive in with a passion.  It was nice of him to go with us though.
Even though they are a bunch of weirdos  we still love them.
This one didn't know what to think of everything.
This smile on his face is as fake as smiles come.  But I will take it.  He was miserable the entire time.  He did however sit and watch the movie until he fell asleep...about 10 minutes into the first show.
Whether or not he had fun she sure does love her daddy
  These two are soul mates
Ellie getting a good squeeze on her sissy.
 The crazy movie watchers.
The best part of any drive in movie  is the snuggles from the littles.
About 10 minutes into the second movie this is how the family looked.  JJ and I watched the who second show just the two of us.
Time for the credits.  I couldn't tell which leg belonged to which girl.  It looked like a bowl of spaghetti.

7-Eleven

Lately life as been so crazy busy I haven't been able to fully enjoy a good nuggle.  Today I decided I needed to take some time out to just love on my little Poppins.  She is getting so big and time just wont slow down.
After the nuggles we remembered it was 7-Eleven day.  Which translates to FREE SLURPEE DAY!  One or our favorites.  We headed to K-Town and hit two stores in 10 minutes.  It was fabulous fun for the kiddos.
When we got home we had to do our traditional pic of lining up with our slurpees.  Then we made a moment out of it.
Just then dad pulled up and the day was complete.

The New Tricks of Poppins

This little lady has decided that climbing is lots of fun, until she can't get down.
She got to spend some time taking a bath in the sink with grandma.
She is starting to read, or at least she thinks she can.
Forget about the toliet paper mess that she makes ALL THE TIME!!!  Drives me crazy.

She is getting so big.  It is crazy to think this is my baby.  I can't believe how fast time goes by.  I wish time would just slow down.

Siblings or not?

Tara had her baby and so we got the privileged of enjoying Mac for the day.  Him and Emry had so much fun together.  As you can see they were all about the mess today.
Emry just loves this kid.  She was always trying to hug him.
When I took this pic it reminded me so much of a pic I had seen of Jeff and Jeron.  These two could be siblings.  So sweet.
These two were worn out after a day spent together.   Sweet little angels when they sleep.
This could possibly been a seen in 14 years.  Crazy!!
 These two adore each other.
After my play time with Mac I got to head over to the house and meet Keegan.  He is adorable.  Sweet little baby boy.

Somebody is a big brother...and a birthday boy.

Somebody is a big brother.  And not only is he a big brother he is a birthday boy.  Yep, Mac got a new brother for his birthday.  Tara called me at midnight and asked me to head on over.  I guess that jumping on the trampoline worked.  We were lucky enough to get to have Mac for his 2nd birthday.  We really did have a great time.

We played outside on the tramp,
We played in the yard,
We played inside,
We even had cake and ice cream.
Happy birthday Mr. Mac.  We love you.

Desperation will make you do just about anything

We all had a good laugh when extremely preggers Tara got up on the trampoline and decided to jump.  She is ready to have this baby.

Fireworks, Rain, and Puppets, oh my.

There is nothing better than a rainstorm in July.  Literally it is one of my most favorite things.  Making it even better was having Lucy and Ben to run in it with.
We have some soaking wet kiddos here.
Ben thought we were all crazy so he stayed out of the rain.  He might be the only sane one.
Leave it to Emma to get Ben to decide that it is super fun to get wet.  He really likes Emma.
I am still not sure he really enjoyed it but he did it.  Elsie on the other hand just might have loved it.
My parents have had this puppet theater since I was little.  The kids have never used it and wanted to try it out.  They loved it.  We were laughing so hard.  They were so silly and cute.
They couldn't quite figure out that you don't put your faces through.  Seriously I was laughing so hard I was crying.
Thank you Lucy, Ellie, Elsie, and Emma for your amazing show.  We can't wait for your next masterpiece.

4th of July 2014

We love the 4th of July at our house.  The parade, the bar-b-que, and fireworks.  Kaysville knows how to put on a good parade.  This year we decided to park our bums closer to the start of the parade.  It was a lot different.  They throw gobs of candy.  And the water show is awesome.  The crowd got a bit crazy this year.  A cop was driving down the road and they sprayed his car.  He was not happy about it.  Some people can be so stupid.
These kids are the world to me.
Taking a break from the heat.
 My cute family.
After the parade we head home and get ready for the fireworks.  Davis fireworks are my favorite in the state.  This year we all thought that they should play Light 'Em Up for the start of the show and we nailed it.  Sure enough they played it first song.  We were so excited this year to have the Vogel's share a blanket with us.  We love having them in Utah to share our traditions with them.
We are growing.  Minus all the fam and we are still a large group.
We enjoyed hanging out with each other.
We were also lucky enough to have Jeff and Macky with us.  Mac was a crazy kid.  He sure keeps everyone on their toes.  I am just glad we didn't have to find him.
The fam getting ready for the big show
 The Snow Men
We really did have a great time.  Thanks to all that came with us.  You made our 4th a big BANG!
