The Big Game

I love tradition and one of my favorite traditions is being a Utah fan. I have passed this tradition on to my cute kiddos. Like my parents before me this has been a time honored event. This year is a bit different because this will be the last time Utah and byu play consecutively.  I am  having a hard time with this.  I feel that a part of Utah history is dying.  My husband unfortenately cheers for the TDS.  I have showed the kids the errors in their fathers ways.  This year though I had a deserter.  Elsie LOVES her daddy.  She couldn't bare to not cheer for his team too.  So yes, that is a blue bow and a blue "y" on her cheek.  Jeron was so proud.
I think she is a bit confused because her she is shooting flashing a "U"
I am not to happy about this little traitor in our midst.
ADORABLE
DISGRACE
Ellie is a UTAH fan through and through.  Love her face!
Emma has always stayed true.  Awesome lady
Emry is a Ute in the making.
JJ was up at mama and papas to mow the lawn so he was not around to get pictures.  He is of course still a Utah fan along with the rest of my good children.  Elsie will have to learn the hard way I guess.  The game game was a good game.  It was extremely intense and in the end of course the UTES came out on top.  21-24.  UTAH won.  Like I said Elsie will learn the hard way.  I will have to say that I do feel bad for Jeron.  In the 14  years we have been married I have come out on top a lot more than he he has.  It pays to pick a winning team to cheer for.  GO UTES!

Somebody is sleeping in my bed...

I know, I know. This is taboo.  I just love it though.  When you have five kids and a husband life is cray cray.  In order for me to get good snuggles in with this bambino it requires that I sleep with her.  Yes, there you have it.  I sleep with her.  She loves every minute of it though.  She now won't sleep at night without me but that is just fine with me.
Everyone always wants to take her from me except at midnight.  This is when we get some good one on one choos and loves.

She is growing so fast, and I want to savor every thing.
I just love my little squishy pants.  I will keep her with me as long as she will have me, or until she starts kicking me.  hahaha

Preschool Time

This is Elsie's first year of preschool because her awesome mom forgot to sign her up last year.  Oops.  She is so excited.  She has been waiting for a really long time.  This little girl is a smart one.  She will love school.

All the girls minus Ashley.  Cute little group of ladies.

Ellie had Ms. Marilee and we just love her so I am so excited for Elsie to be going here.  I hope she has a fabulous time.
I'm just wondering what I am going to do with myself for 2.5 hours.  Hmmm, I think I can come up with something.

Our Anniversary Getaway

For our anniversary we usually try to head up to Park City for a quick get-away.  This year Roger really hooked us up with an awesome room.  Jeron loved the big screen for football watching.  I just loved having all that room to stretch out.  I almost felt like I should call the kids to come up it was so nice.  Then my mind came back to its senses.
I love while Jeron watched his football, I got to snuggle this little bundle.  I could eat her.
We usually do a ton of TV watching but this time we spent more time out and about.  We enjoyed the sunshine.  This vacation had the most perfect weather.  It was beautiful in Park City.
We did spend our time shopping of course.  My man loves his shoes.  LOVES!  He could spend all day in this store and the next and the next.  It is a funny obsession.
This little lady loved shopping with her daddy.  He kind of likes her too.  They have such a sweet relationship.
Oh ya, baby!  Finally someone gets it.  I am fun size.
This is the sweetest picture ever.  I saw them looking out over Park City together and my heart melted.  How sweet is the back of her tiny little head.

Heading up on the Gondola.

Hanging out at the Canyons.  Did I mention that the weather was amazing.

If we go to Park City we have to hit up the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to visit my bear friend.  The chocolate and carmel apples are pretty good too.
My most favorite part of the trip was laying out at my own private pool.  I worked my magical powers and got the pool boy to let me in to the closed pool.  It was so nice to have some "just me time"  Some guy kept whistling at me from the 8th floor.  It would have creeped me out if he wasn't so hot.
Jeron spoiled me to an amazing dinner at Ruth's Chris.  It was delicious.  We ate out on the balcony and it was totally romantic minus the bambino of course.
I surely do love this man of mine.  I am so grateful for the times when we can get away and just be the two of us.
On one of the mornings we usually try to make a stop to get a yummy breakfast.  I love eating here.   And I love even more that I can't for the life of me remember the name of where we always go.  But it is great.  Even if my cheap hubby thinks it is too expensive.  Hahaha.  love him.
It turned out to be a fabulous weekend.  Here is to a fantastic year.  We were made for each other.  Love him.

Back to School

I don't know if you were like me this year but school couldn't come soon enough. I don't know if it was the baby or the longer break or both but I was OVER IT.  September 4th could not come soon enough.  I have never said that before so I am assuming it is the baby.

This year will be our first time having a Jr. High student.  Man, are we really that old?  JJ is going to Farmington Jr. High.  That is the same Jr. High his dadddy went to.  I have been having a little fun with it because I didn't go there.  They are the huskies.  I keep telling JJ he is going to "Fat Camp" because they are husky.  Get it.  haha, I crack myself up.

JJ was so nervous the night before but this morning he was eerily calm.  I was so happy to hear this.  There has been so many sleepless nights worrying about Jr. High.  I am so glad that he loved it . What a relief.
This handsome guy was not that excited to hold up the sign but he indulged me none the less.
Watch out ladies.
Emma is our oldest one in elementary.  She is nervous for this year but I am not.  This child needs to back off of herself a bit.  She is a little perfectionist.

She looked darling.  We actually found this shirt yesterday.  Few, just in the nick of time.

Miss Ellie Bean is in 2nd grade this year.  She is so excited to go and meet her new teacher and see her friends.  She has missed Kaiya.

The new styles are killing me.  Man, I'm getting old.  Just love her face.
JJ was out the door before these knuckle heads even woke up.

Jeron took Ellie so I didn't get pictures of her.  It is always chaos at the school.

The kids were all so sweet to let me take their picture again.  If you think I am serious, I am not.  They all complained but in the end they are all here doing it.

And mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again.  I hope we have a great 2012-2013 year.
